Distraction: Abbey Clancy spent the afternoon at the stables to take her mind off the past week's events
After a night of crisis talks to repair her relationship with Peter Crouch, Abbey Clancy sought refuge in the Surrey stables where she keeps her horse.
Kissing the beloved animal, the 24-year-old model and presenter appeared to be relaxed and intent on keeping her mind off allegations her fiance was unfaithful.
In a crisp white shirt, black trousers and riding boots Clancy looked as fresh and chic as ever.
And it was visible to all that her engagement ring - worth a reported £200,000 - was back on her hand, suggesting reports she has forgiven the footballer for allegedly sleeping with a prostitute are true.
She was also snapped earlier today reading the front pages of the newspapers as she stopped at a petrol station.
And one particular paper of interest to her was The Sun, as she peered at its front page which had declared she had gone back to Crouch.
The star groomed her horse - and gave him a kiss or two - while her fiance Peter Crouch played Manchester City

She will be taking interest however in a Sunday tabloid, which has reported for a second week on Crouch's alleged womanising.
The News of the World carried pictures of the footballer on a night out in the company of a series of women.
While Clancey focused on staying busy, a drained-looking Crouch was being watched by thousands of football fans as his team Tottenham Hotspur took on Manchester City.
The striker and his fiancee met at their Surrey home last night, having spent nearly a week apart.
Although keen to repair her relationship Clancy is still said to be furious with her 6ft 7in fiance.
According to reports she screamed at him: 'Tell me how we come back from this?'

However, prior to their meeting yesterday it seems the former Britain's Next Top Model star was determined to work things out with Crouch, who she started dating in 2006.
Shopping in Waitrose yesterday, the Liverpudlian was quick to reassure concerned fans their relationship was salvageable.
An employee of the supermarket said to Clancy she 'hoped they stayed together because they seemed like a lovely couple'.
Abbey responded saying: 'We'll work it out. We are going to stay together. Don't worry, we'll get through this. It's all going to be fine.'

An onlooker said despite her recent trauma and turmoil, the star still looked beautiful as ever.
'She was smiling and didn't look a troubled soul. I hope they patch things up,' she said.
While she is still 'devastated' following revelations Crouch paid prostitute Monica Mint £800 for sex on a stag weekend in Madrid, her mother has been a huge support and is helping her decide what to do next.
A source said: 'She is still angry and hurt but she feels much clearer about what she wants to do.'
According to a friend, 29-year-old Crouch has been 'desperate' to regain Clancy's trust but if he moves to another football club their relationship may not survive.
In the dog house? Peter briefly popped home today, avoiding a meeting with his fiancee
A source told the Daily Star: 'Abbey loves Peter and wants him to be a success. But if he has to leave Spurs she is hoping it is for a club close by, not the other end of the country.
'This news could not have happened at a worse time. The last thing she needs right now is to be faced with the prospect of a long distance relationship.'
They added: 'Peter appears to have succumbed to temptation after just a few hours in Spain on a stag do. Abbey will now be beside herself with worry every time he goes away to play or train.'
Earlier in the week, the pair did return home separately but have not seen each other since claims of his infidelity surfaced last weekend.
The footballer made a brief visit to the couple's home yesterday, but made sure he had left by the time his fiancée arrived.
Clearly not in the mood to be photographed following a difficult week, the Scouse model tried to cover her face as she drove her BMW towards their £3million mansion.
Lots on her mind: Abbey has sought solace with friend Toni Terry and kept herself busy with her new E4 hairdressing show
Clancy still wasn't wearing her diamond engagement ring - which was noticeably absent from her left hand when she was horse-riding with fellow WAG Toni Terry earlier this week.
Clancy was photographed seeking advice from Mrs Terry - wife of shamed former England captain John Terry -in the wake of accusations that Crouch had slept with a teenage prostitute.
A friend said: ‘Peter can take that as a big clue as to how Abbey has reacted to his cheating. She is furious and feels duped. It could all be over.’
Clancy and Terry, who are firm friends, met at riding stables in Lingfield, Surrey, just a few hours after hearing allegations that striker Peter Crouch had paid £800 for liaisons with a prostitute in the back of a taxi and in a hotel.
On Monday night, a friend told the Daily Mail that it was ‘far from certain’ that Clancy would forgive the England player and take him back.
Friend in need: Abbey was being comforted by friend Toni Terry, who has recently weathered allegations of her Chelsea footballer husband's cheating
On the rocks? Abbey at a riding stables near Lingfield, while Peter kept his head down as he arrived at the Tottenham Hotspur training ground on Monday
The friend said: ‘Yes, Peter is Abbey’s first big love and she adores him, but it is too early to say if she will give him another chance.
‘They have to meet face to face before anything can be decided. She was filming when she got the news and had to put on a brave face and keep going, but she was absolutely furious. She just broke down on the way home.’
The stony-faced blonde model was seen on the phone at the riding stables, where she was being consoled by Mrs Terry, who is a keen dressage competitor.
Dressed in riding gear, she looked tired and angry after learning of the footballer’s alleged lurid encounter with a prostitute in Spain.
Terry, 28, stayed with her husband after he was accused earlier this year of cheating on her.
On Monday night, Clancy’s spokesman said: ‘Abbey always takes her jewellery off when out riding.’
Crouch started dating Clancy in 2006. They briefly split that summer when he sent her home from the World Cup after she was involved in a cocaine scandal.
She was then accused of cheating on him by rekindling a relationship with an ex-boyfriend.
