The fact that the Bhatt camp has always given bollywood its most memorable talent is something no one can deny. Keeping this trend in mind, theBhatt camp is all set to unveil their fresh discovery in the soon to be released film MURDER 2.

Mohit Suri's sequel to MURDER will introduce Sulagna Panigrihi as one of the central characters. Sulagna, who has earlier worked extensively in various popular television serials is kicked about her debut role.

Talking about her shift from TV to films, Sulagna seems to be quite clear in her choice. Says she, "I won't deny that television has given me a popular identity. But having spent four years in this industry, I was looking at a good film break and that was when MURDER 2 came my way. I am extremely fortunate to be part of this film which has shaped up extremely well and I am happy to have bagged one of the central roles in the film."

Sulagna Panigrihi has earlier been part of popular TV shows like AMBER DHARA, DO SAHELIYAAN and BIDAAI.

I Hate Luv Storys actor Sammir Dattani got engaged to his long-time sweetheart Ritika Jolly last Sunday in Mumbai. The affair was a quiet one, attended only by family and close friends.

Sammir excitedly said, “I’ve known Ritika for a long time now and we decided it’s the right time to get engaged. The wedding will happen sometime next year.”

His fiance is an aspiring writer with a corporate background. As far as his own career is concerned, Sammir claims to be busy with a Kannada film down South.

candice Boucher plays a sand artist in upcoming spy flick

Candice Boucher, a South African Playboy hottie who features in Percept's untitled next, essays the role of a sand artist in the espionage drama.

Directed by Prashant Chaddha (Aap Ka Surror), the film stars Sachin Joshi (the Managing Director of an energy drink endorsed by Shah Rukh Khan) and Arya Babbar.

The beauty had to train from a professional artiste for the role. She says, "Learning from a sand artiste from Belarus was an amazing experience.

It's an intricate art more difficult than oils and watercolours on canvas as sand keeps shifting all the time. One's concentration has to be sharper and more focussed."

As reported 'Playmate on board' (Hitlist, June 11), Candice was the nude centrespread attraction of Playboy magazine for April 2010 and is also the brand ambassador for an international jeans brand.

She was signed for the film during the FIFA World Cup in June (it was held in her home country) to up the project's glam quotient.

The movie is about an informant who has to go undercover to save his brother and the nation from the effects of a biological war.
