Mummy and me: Reese Witherspoon takes daughter Ava for iced tea in Santa Monica, California yesterday
It's not uncommon for little girls to dress like their favourite movie star.
And when that star happens to be your own mother the resemblance can be uncanny.
Reese Witherspoon 's daughter Ava, 10, looked her miniature double as they enjoyed an iced tea in Santa Monica yesterday.
The little lady has the same baby blonde hair and identical facial features to her famous mother.
She appears to share 34-year old Reese's sense of style too - rocking a cool pair of black rimmed glasses.
Ava and her brother Deacon's father, actor Ryan Phillipe divorced from Reese in October 2006 after seven years of marriage.
Reese is enjoying spending time with her children after completing filming Water For Elephants alongside Robert Pattinson.
And there are clear advantages to having a famous parent.

‘Ava seemed especially excited to meet him,' a source told People magazine.
'The filming with Rob is going really well and Reese was excited for the kids to meet him.’
In the film Twilight star Pattinson, 24, plays Jacob Jankowski – an orphaned veterinary student who is put in charge of a circus.
Summer time: Reese is enjoying the break after wrapping Water for Elephants
There he meets Marlena, played by Reese, the beautiful star of the equestrian act.
Despite the age gap between Robert and Reese, they play lovers in the film.
Written by Oscar-nominated Richard LaGravenese, who also wrote P.S, I Love You and Freedom Writers, Water For Elephants is set in the early Thirties during the Great Depression.
