At the carwash, yeah: Alex Curran washes a car dressed up to the nines in designer clothes as part of a Hyundai campaign
Her husband has taken on the responsibility of the England captaincy, after team-mate Rio Ferdinand withdrew threw injury, so it's been left down to Alex Curran to maintain the couple's home.
The 27-year-old former glamour model posed for a series of pictures in which she appeared to wash a car dressed up to the nines, in what's become known as typical WAG style.
Alex wears a loose yellow off-the-shoulder top with a pair of high-waisted shorts and peep toe platform Louboutins
She accessorises the outfit with chunky jewellery, chains and a bracelet, with a showpiece Chanel bracelet and a bouffant hairstyle.
Of course, the pictures are not a true depiction of Alex's home life (we hope), the shoot was organised by car makers Hyundai, who sponsor the World Cup.
She is fronting a competition with Hyundai to experience her lifestyle for a weekend and watch the World Cup as she will from the UK.
Support: The former model will be watching husband Steven Gerrard in action as he leads England in their World Cup campaign
WAG style: Alex is a purveyor of the couture culture associated with WAGs
Alex said: 'I am so proud of Steven and can’t wait for the first match, at the same time its hugely nerve wracking as this is a massive opportunity for him.
'I am not going out to South Africa yet as the girls are in school and it’s a long way away to leave them behind for so long. I will watch the matches at home with the girls and the rest of our friends and family.'
One lucky winner will win a weekend in an ultra luxurious nine bedroom mansion complete with personal chef, butler, pamper packages, a personal trainer and swimming pool - perfect for that post match party.
Visit Hyundai's Facebook page http://apps.facebook.com/hyundai_wags and pick your ideal package. Select from a choice of dining, socialising, well-being and activity packages to make for the perfect WAG weekend.
The competition closing date is 11 June 2010.
Meanwhile, a burglar who confronted Steven Gerrard’s wife in her Merseyside home and threatened to kidnap her children was jailed for seven years and four months.
Martin Wilson was part of a gang who smashed their way through patio doors into the Formby mansion of the Liverpool FC captain in December 2007.
With the footballer playing abroad at the time, 22-year-old Wilson and his accomplices demanded his wife Alex Curran, 27, and her nanny Lyndsey Johnston reveal the location of the family’s safe and jewellery or they would “take the kids”.
Wilson, of Hollowcroft, Stockbridge Village, pleaded guilty to burglary last month.
He is already serving a six-year, eight- month sentence for a catalogue of burglaries, targeting families’ high-powered cars, in a spree which netted his accomplices more than £700,000.
Sentencing Judge Robert Warnock told him: 'You threatened the occupants of the house with violence and the use of a knife.
'Particularly seriously, you threatened to abduct the children if she did not hand over the safe.
'You are both venal and extremely violent. You have no regard for the dignity and security that is the right of every householder. Your actions are determined by your own selfishness and greed.'
Yesterday’s sentence will run concurrently to his first, meaning his likely release date will be 2014.
