They are two of the most successful actresses on the planet and have no doubt come up against each other for roles, awards and in the style stakes.
But it's safe to say Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Aniston have probably never been each other's nemesis in a hula dancing competition - until now.
Filming their latest movie - Just Go With It - in Maui, the pair who play lifelong rivals are seen in grass skirts and coconut bras.
Onstage they shake their hips and arms in an attempt to be the best hula dancer and maybe settle the score once and for all.
Speaking to US showbiz news programme Entertainment Tonight, Aniston said: 'There were times when I thought, 'this could look like a really bad version of Dancing With The Stars.''
And when Kidman was complimented for her hip-swinging hula moves, she brushes off her dancing talent saying: 'I'm really bad - I just fake it.'

These are the second set of shots from the film. Earlier this week, Kidman was spotted in a racy swimsuit - a rare sighting of her enviable figure since giving birth to daughter Sunday Rose in 2008.
The demure actress never usually wears anything revealing so it was a real treat to see her in showing off her curves and her lovely long legs yesterday.
On set, she looked stunning in a sexy black cutaway swimsuit
Ever the modest actress, she covered herself in a long grey beach robe, maybe feeling somewhat self-conscious.
But the sheerness of the gown meant that her enviable bikini body was still very visible underneath.
But as she stood there serenely, her composure slipped after she got soaked as she stood by a pool while co-star Aniston just looked on and laughed.

The Friends star wasn't actually being unkind towards her fellow actress - the ladies were filming a scene from their upcoming comedy Just Go With It which appeared to show character Eddie Simms, played by actor and stand-up comedian Nick Swarsdon, 33, jump into a swimming pool in front of them.
He ends up splashing Nicole, 42, in front of Jennifer, 41, but she actually got off lightly, unlike her co-star, model Brooklyn Decker, who was actually pulled in the pool.
Brooklyn, 23, the wife of tennis player Andy Roddick, is seen having a go at Swarsdon's character as she stands drenched in the pool.

But once the cameras stopped rolling, all three girls shared a laugh at what they'd just filmed as Swardson watched from the pool.
Their co-star Adam Sandler, 43, was nowhere to be seen, possibly resting between scenes.
They have all been staying on the Hawaiian island to film Just Go With It, which is due out next year and stars Sandler as a commitment-phobe plastic surgeon, who lies to his much younger girlfriend Beverly (played by Brooklyn) that he's married with children.

He enlists the help of his receptionist Palmer, a single mother played by Jennifer, to pretend to be his 'estranged wife'.
Nicole plays a character called Rea Ann Devlin and although little has been disclosed about the character, Rea appears to be a good friend of Palmer in the film.
It is the first romantic comedy Nicole has filmed since the film remake of the 1970s US TV series Bewitched.
