Today the singer was pictured leaving her hotel with a gold cocktail ring on her wedding finger - showing there was no space for either of the two her estranged husband bought her.

Only yesterday the X Factor judge proudly waggled her bare wedding finger at the cameras, along with a beaming smile.

The singer was - ironically - in Paris, the city of love, but her delight at facing the single life couldn't have been more apparent.
