So you can get a 1TB hard drive for $80.... 12,000 of those.... not that big of an expenditure tbf.
1TB Fiber Channel , 15K RPM SAS drives or SSD are much more expensive. You don't really use desktop harddrives in a SAN.

The deal is on slickdeals so it probably wont last long. Its totally legit through motorola. I thought about trying it out but then it says could take 4-6 week to get money back if i return it. Not sure if i will like it

At this point, I couldn't really care less about Blu Ray or HD-DVD. I'd be more excited if Apple included Lightscribe or equivalent capability in their drives. Unlabeled discs are piled high on my desk.
Get a $100 inkjet cd/dvd printer. I use the Epson R320 (has a few more bells and whistles). You can Google images and print just about any kind of image on your discs. They look GREAT!
Generic ink is about $15 for a complete set! Doesn't look the best for photos but works fine for labels.

Stylus-focused tablets failed in no small part because of the easily-lost one-more-thing-to-fiddle-with can't-function-without-it stylus requirement. So, Apple built a tablet that didn't need it. Insofar as a few people do need a stylus for limited applications, third parties make them. Buy one if you need it; nobody is stopping you but you.
Yeah except Photoshop is for people like me so it is relevant. Also work on your anger management classes.

No light sounds like it isn't getting any power. Are you sure it is plugged in to the power at the wall?
Have you tried another cable or USB port?
Does it make any noise at all? Can you hear the drive spinning up, or is there any clicking noise, etc?

Just wondering if there is a way to disable apples multitasking on the ipad with 4.2? I much preferred using backgrounder and proswitcher on 3.2 and would love to be able to go back to something better than apples implementation. I bought my iPad1 from Apple 10 months ago. When asked which Sim I said O2 but have never used a sim in it. WIll my iPad be locked to O2 or will it use any Sim?

Not really, Tower Records wasn't working because they didn't move online with their catalogue quickly enough. The commercial real estate is getting way overpriced.

Apple are putting in $25bn quarters, so I reckon we can predict a close on to $100bn turnover for the 2011/2012 year. Which isn't far off the 2009 figure for Samsung Electronics at $117bn turnover.
As for the 2-3 times - then you are comparing the whole of Samsung Group, which I'm sure you said that you weren't comparing. But even if we were comparing the whole group, it's $100bn vs $175bn. So not 2-3 times. Maybe 3 times if you are comparing 2009 - which again is slightly boring since Apple's financial muscle has increased hugely in the last 18-24 months.
At best, you were being disingenius when you said "2-3" times for the electronics group, (wiki shows $65bn vs $117bn), when 65 is clearly more than half of 117. As you have trouble with maths, 65*2 is 130. And, taking no chances, 117 is less than 130.
So quite where your "2-3" comes from I have no idea.
Maybe as a hater your maths are failing you? Who knows. ;)
