Basically, if your county health dept has a program, they can give you vaccinations for dirt cheap prices. I paid only $10 per person for Td & MMR :)

Looking at your scenario
Moving to another employer and keeping 485 alive is only theoretical option to you.
In reality and practical terms your plan is fraught with risks and is probably not worth it.
If your situation isn't dire and current employer is paying on time and this next employer is not "once in a life-time" type of opportunity.. STAY!

I find it wise to pay my lawyer to find the correct information for me.... be it from USCIS website or from her professional knowledge base. Believe it or not, I trust a qualified professional more than myself when it comes to a subject outside of my expertise...:D

There was a piece on one of the news shows this AM. A guy still makes Daguerreotypes (the actual plates, from raw materials!) in New York City. Basically that stuff must be like ISO 0.05 because he was making exposures from 30 seconds to 4 minutes, achieving the 'missing people and cars' effect as a result.
Oh, by the way, he uses a Giotto Rocket blower to blast the dust from his plates before coating with the silver solution.

I could not find anything on transcription, but lots of entry-level jobs in QA or in SAP that provide training etc. All the best.
When you get some responses from these people, ask around (friends etc) to see if anyone has had a good/bad experience with that firm.
Again, unlike H1, being on EAD your life is much simpler and options are much more open. You can walk away if they dont treat you well. All you need is a break and these guys might be able to provide one.

Hello All,
I just got my EAD approved and I am waiting for my AP. I want to go back to school full time to pursue more education. If I do so, what will happen to my immigration status?
Can I continue on my EAD? If yes, How?
If I transfer to F-1, what will happen to my PD, EAD and AP?
After completion of studies, can I utilize my PD or EAD?
Please advice!
I presume you can continue your studies using your EAD. Yes you could utilize that EAD after your studies too. And at any given point of time one can have only one Staus. So in your case its either EAD or F1. If someone's EAD is already approved, I dont think that someone could change to F1 unless his/her EAD has been denied.

I don�t want to get into this fight or judge the OP. They are already paying the price for they did. Just I want to reply for your post. If it has happened by mistake we can consider put ourselves into their shoes. I believe most of us do not want to shoplift intentionally. Some people are doing it for fun/thrill or it�s in their blood. In this context, I failed to understand what do you mean by 'Put yourself in their shoes'.

Can soneone help me with this question.....please....
My husband is on H1B and I'm on Ead.....both of us have expired I-94 stamps.....we are planing to go to our home country this year...we want to apply for advance parole......my question is.....can we enter U.S both of us with AD?
I read on Uscis website that you need to have personal reason in order to go to your country while I-485 is pending....and you have to prove your personal reason.....is that true....we want only to visit our parents.

As per my attorney, number of PERM applications filed in 2nd half of 2009 is very low (He has some good contacts at Atlanta DOL). He was expecting all 2009 non-audited cases to be processed in a couple of months....Not getting audited is the key in PERM process. My PERM will be finally filed this week, and I am hoping its not going be audited (MS + 6 yrs or BS + 8 yrs exp, 4G Mobile Communications R&D) though my attorney feels it will be....Keeping my fingers crossed...A successful EB3 to Eb2 conversion seems to be the only hope...

What I understand from this is that USCIS has completed the data entry for the dates given and issue the receipts (essentially means, receipt date has been marked against your application in the database) but the receipt will take another 14 days to reach.
So guys keep patience as USCIS is going to give us update every week now...mentioned in the news letter.

They should arrive within 90 days of applying. They are not related to the Priority date. ;)

Priority Date may retrogress again. I am debating right now if I need to push my lawyer to file I-485 ASAP (hired by the firm, won't move a bit if not being bugged).
My understanding is: the immediate benefits for my wife and me once I-485 is filed are Advanced Parole and Employment Authorization Document.
My question is: are AP and EAD linked with Priority Date in any way, or you will have them once I-485 package is sent, no matter what? In other words, if PD retrogresses again in the near future, will AP and EAD be delayed also?
