Alot of members have fled to immigrationvoice with a hope to get their GC very quickly. Today the organization have received a final blow in its coffin when the House Judiciary Committee did'nt even look at HR5882.
Members are always been targeted for contributions for lobbyists, free lunch etc. and yet nothing concrete have been acheived by IV. I have never seen this website(immigrationportal) ask members for a single dollar yet have been just as helpful or even more helpful than IV and also this website is flame free you can express your self without fear. At IV to disagree you are a moron..(GIVING RED DOTS, ACTING LIKE A GROUP OF KINDERGARDEN KIDS, NO WONDER THE HORSE BILL WAS MARKUP AND HR5882 ISN'T)

Save your money in this time of need and lets us make this site what it was in past before when some selfish persons seeking self gratification lure away members. The moderators of this site is to blame because they played a part in sucking up them, by deleting post that IV is not pleased of and giving aways members IP, thus in the process leaving this site to die a slow death.

Since Visa numbers trickle down, the more visa numbers there are available, the more will trickle down to countries with high demand... recapturing visa numbers might be easier than taking a poke at per country limit.. IMHO...
Recapturing lost numbers is not a permanent solution. Per country limit 7% is ridiculous. We need to make sure we are not discriminated against by the per country limit. Its not my fault that someone from Europe doesnt want to come here and not so many from Africa or south america qualify for the EB visas.

Write to Mr. Bush (no kidding). They will send an inquiry to FBI and you will get something from FBI NNCP (name check division). If that does not help, file a lawsuit against USCIS/FBI. Or you can file a lawsuit first and then write a letter to save some time. The lawsuit will get things moving. The do-it-yourself guide is located here:

Leadership or Money is not issue for getting results. Why there is so much oppositon to H1b and GC increase? There is a fear in certain american people that they may lose job to the low wage H1b people. Is anyone either corportions or Pro-immigrants trying to remove the fear? Is skill bill has any protection to american workers? We want to increase to h1b or gc without botherng the impact. Now USA really need more h1bs and gcs. But are we suggesting anything when job growth stops or recession happens? Rememember so many people were laid off between 2000 to 2003 including H1b people and Americans but that time also most of 195k h1b was used. I knew lot of people

Called all of them today morning. Requested the house reps to co-sponsor the 3 bills. It will be more effective if more constituents (or even CA residents) call in, rather non-constituents like me calling in.
Some of the offices did mention that they received lots of calls regarding the support for the 3 bills. Good going folks..

I am a passive observer of these forums. But some of the ridiculous notions floating around here have motivated me to vent. First and foremost, the law as written is highly favorable to people in EB3 categories, even from India. Here is how...
Take my example (and there are thousands like myself)....came to the US 8 years ago, spent 5 years working day and night to earn a PhD on a low (barely sustainable) stipend, got FIRST job saw decent money for the first time 6 years after I came.
Now, compare this to a person working an EB3-job for the last 8 years. Not only does this person do a real job that hopefully provides a respectable income but this person also has the option of moving to EB2 after 5 years of experience. So, at the end of the day in 2008; this person comes out ahead of me in terms of money, in terms of priority date (if ported) and most likely in terms of GC.
There are complaints all over the forum which have the stink of pretentiousness such as �oh..i am a poor EB3 waiting for n number of years� etc etc. What you guys seem to forget is that YOU are NOT an EB3, it is your JOB that is EB3. You have all the opportunities that were/are available to a person who sweated it out in the university system here to gain more qualifications and get an EB2 job. You CHOSE not to. The general discussion seems to center around cribbing about the US immigration system (Immigration by the way is a privilege defined by laws, not a birthright) and then blaming the EB2 crowd when they finally see the system implement the law as intended in the first place (horizontal spillover rules).
All these posts that refer to �my career is over because my gc is delayed� are nothing but a pathetic excuse. Law of supply and demand....if you have a skillset that is valuable, you will be fine with or without GC anywhere in the world. It takes a bunch of documents to remain here legally, all you need is a passport to go back if the system here seems so bad.
For all the attacks that are bound to happen, here is the fodder.....this is probably my first and last post, I haven�t contributed a dime to IV, will work here as long as I like it and if not, India is a great country and provides enough opportunities for any skillset !!

Skinning the wheel is too easy, all you have to do is plop the graphic down and set the blending accordingly. Leaving the wheel stock makes it harder because you gotta get the elliptical out.
