Hello all....this is my first post this to this forum as I am a new Mac user. Great site...
Anyway, I recently purchased a 12"Powerbook...which rocks by the way....Can anyone recommend a great wireless router? I was going to invest in the Airport Extreme for the compatibility however the reviews I have read say this isn't the best router out there for the $$$$.
Any suggestions?

Well.......you could go to itunes.com/version and search for the firmware in the list.

Not sure the sarcastic comments and put downs were required, I thought I made it quite clear I didn't know what I was doing, hence asking for advice. To reiterate my question and perhaps make it more clear - I was hoping someone might know of a online resource or book which would give guidance on what type of font works well in certain circumstances. Such a thing might not exist as it's such a broad area and very specific to each illustration or logo, but in the interests of self improvement I thought I would ask.

I wish everyone would stop looking for things to compare to Vista. First it was Snow Leopard, then it was the iPhone 4 , and now it's iOS 4. Software has bugs. Get over it.

Ok so here is plan B in effect:
Got the retail disc on the way, going to erase my flash drive and put the retail image on that drive. Once I boot from it I'll erase the 1,1's HDD and do a clean install.
Hopefully that works.
I want to thank everyone for their input so far it's been very helpful.
It also used to be easy enough to modify the machine CD to trick it into thinking its a retail disk?

every sellers record seems flawless...the catch is none of them seem to have sold expensive stuff before...they all have sold either baseball cards or cheap books...sounds kind of iffy

Ps3 has a crappy browser. I heard they may be updating it to something like firefox, but have nothing right now.
Sorry about the Netflix, that' a pretty big loss. Streaming media, I think, works better with xbox and windows.

Im getting at my local att store at midnight. Yesterday they said they were getting a shipment in at 8am and 11am. They dont know definite numbers but they said more than last year and they got over 100 3gs last year :eek:

I just received my quote from the "Business Manager" at the local Apple store. I have to purchase through my wife's company so the quote is just for the 12" iBook without any upgrades.
However, I would like to upgrade to the 60gb drive. When I bring them the company check do you think I can just add the upgrade then and pay the difference myself. I think it's only $50 for the upgrade.
Also, if I am able to upgrade, do I have to wait long for the upgrade?

can you be more specific on what you mean by "replacement iphone" please?

I call BS. I read what she said in her status and how she commented. She has Facebook hooked up to her Android phone and I doubt she just ignored the notifications of people commenting and saying what they did. If someone were logged in as her at another location then she simply could have replied on her phone saying "Hey, that wasn't me, someone is hacking my account." If it were someone who picked up her phone and started writing that, well then that is really sick and messed up. Regardless, she never denied it until it got big.

My zs3 is up in 2 secs and focused 1 sec later. I used to go around with a tz-1! You had to physically remove the lens cap before shooting but I still thought it was great.

There is no way to change the graphics chip on ANY iMac. They are all soldered to the logic board.
More RAM + faster harddrive is about all you can do.
