So because you don't like Financial Times it's okay for everyone that they are holding out iPad subscriptions. This is exactly what's wrong with you Apple fanboys.
You should be penalizing Apple for allowing this to happen. but instead you jump for joy.

To put that into simple English they currently sell their customers information to marketing firms or use the demographic data to sell ads in the FT or related materials.

Apple products are too often kept at RRP - not sure if its always by agreements with apple - "don't discount more than 10% or lose authorised reseller status"
Obviously good for apple products, but not for the consumer.
My understanding of price fixing, is when two competing manufacturers sell the same type of product and agree to only sell at a certain price, usually to keep the product at an unnaturally higher price then necessary. An example of this would be if Apple, contacted Samsung, and discussed making their tablet computer for sale at a certain price, to keep the price igher so that both companies would make more profit.
However, this is not the case with the Ipad. Most electronic products are given a manufacturers retail price, and you as the retail store, do not have the right to sell at a larger than agreed upon discount. The way some companies get around this is by packaging products and accessories together. This is done by every major manufacturer, from Apple, Sony, Samsung, Sharp, Nintendo, Microsoft, etc... Go check the Tv's in Best Buy, and then check Fry's, and then some other retailers, they will all be the same price essentially. Look at the PSP's or PS3 or the Wii. All are price controlled by the manufacturer. there is nothing illegal about this. didn't know that. i've use some 6200s before, but have never owned/used a MDD... wonder why it won't work? did you tape the pins, tried all the other tricks? voltage problem perhaps?!? learn something new every day around here. long live PPC!

I can let you know what we can do....
The unlimited mobile to any mobile does not work under normal circumstances with the 550 minute family plan. Our Customer Retention Team may be able to add it on there, but a normal Customer Service Rep cannot.
Also, the deal with Rollover minutes being lost during rate plan changes happens on both upgrading and downgrading minutes. If you have 1000 Rollover and goto, say, a 700 minute plan....the billing system automatically keeps 700 of your Rollover. If you have 2000 Rollover and upgrade to, lets say, a 1400 minute plan...the billing system keeps 1400 of the minutes. That being said, when you guys changes your plans and see no loss of minutes....and think Im yanking cranks, its because we can credit back up to 4000 Rollover for each call, as well as a $250 dollar credit if we see fit, for each call.
Everyone Ive talked to with a family plan since the new Mobile calling feature came out has been a downgrade. 1400 minutes, unlimited SMS and M2M, with the ALIST feature (10 Landlines)....pretty much the way all accounts are gonna be if you ask me.

I'm simply stating the point that I don't understand how people can keep debating this "issue" when there are CLEARLY more important things to talk about. I think because Apple is so successful they get picked on by the media and other Company's seem to get a free pass.

Any SMART company could be encrypting all their secure e-mail with PGP encryption.
I suppose these IT administrators feel better knowing they can read the content

I don't know if this was listen but i was browseing the apple downloads page and came across this (http://www.objectpark.net/)
it puts a mini ical icon in the task bar. Once clicked, a mini calender pops up and u can hover over the dates and it shows whats scheduled. I like because it shows the real date in the task bar for easy refference. Check it out

Hi all,
Just added a 4.8 GHz i7-2600k folding -bigadv (~ 49000 ppd) to my MacRumors contribution.
This is being helped by:
3.8 GHz i7-860 folding -smp 7 -bigadv ~ 22000 ppd
2.8 GHz i7-860 folding -smp 6 ~ 8000 ppd
3* GTX 460 ~ 32000 ppd combined
1* GTX 430 ~ 4000 ppd
All running in wine under Ubuntu 10.04
Hopefully I can maintain a reasonably stable 100k ppd, at least until the weather gets warmer when the graphics cards will have to stop.
