I send out a lot of resumes but no real nibbles yet.
Don't send out resumes. Put together a portfolio and arrange a meeting.
Tell them you're the best thing since sliced bread, and you'll do anything (almost ;)) to prove it to them. I wouldn't give a resume a second glance, but could easily spend 15 minutes looking over an aspiring designer's work.
If your work is good and you present it and yourself well, it should be enough to get your foot in the door somewhere. Be prepared to discuss your decision making process in detail.

Meanwhile, Pegatron originally expected to ship 10 million CDMA iPhone 4s in but sources from upstream component makers pointed out that Apple's orders already saw a significant reduction and the volume is estimated to drop to only five million units.CDMA refers to the radio technology used by Verizon for their mobile phones. The CDMA iPhone (aka Verizon iPhone) was launched in February of this year and saw 2.2 million activations (http://www.macrumors.com/2011/04/21/verizon-activates-2-2-million-iphones-in-q1-2011) in the partial first quarter of its launch. Frankly, as you've discovered, if he really wants to engage in sex, at his age, he's going to. So I'd make the most of whatever influence you have left. Let him know how you feel and what your concerns (pregnancy, STDs, emotional maturity) are. And let him make the decision (which he's going to make anyway) in an educated and prepared way.
If you say "No way" but his brain/heart/penis says "Right now," then you're just bashing your head against a wall.
Sure, you can always threaten to kick him out--and do it--but think carefully what that'll do in the long run.

OK, I've been thinking about this event now for a day. I noticed two what I would consider Steve faux pas. The first being Mr. Jobs brought up the one thing I have been hoping and begging for since the beginning of iTunes and the iTunes store: the Beetles. Why on earth other than "Hey, I like them" would he bring up an artist, in this case a group, that is not even available in the store? Was it a test? Was he hoping to hear a reaction from the audience that would push Sir Paul over the edge and join the throngs of iTunes lovers? Give me a break! The fourth largest music retailer should be able to pull in any band. Fact is, those of us who love them are getting older and the new generation thinks they are six legged arthropods.
Along the same lines was the Paramount introduction. Vague to say the least. Now, in the background were titles like the Italian Job (both of them), Paycheck, and K-19. They are not to be seen on the store. Sure, Thursdays seem to be the day of updates for the movies but Steve said they were updating right as he was giving the keynote. Another slip?

Which Apple product uses a trace of stylus???
So doesn't the Nintendo DS infringe in this stylus patent as well??

I'm not gay, but I take offense to the idea of equating homosexual activity with "sleeping with hookers, and intravenous drug users". Just because someone is gay doesn't mean they sleep around, just like someone who is straight doesn't just sleep around. This is something that you should probably reflect on, in that gay people can be just as likely or not to sleep around and behave in risky ways as straight people can.
I don't think the person you are responding to was equating homosexuality with anything. If you've ever given blood, which I have many times, you would know that you have to fill out a form every time which asks you questions based on relatively high-risk behaviors, including sex-for-money, intravenous drug use, and male-to-male sex. That doesn't make them equated and I see nothing in Socratic's post that would imply s/he felt they were.

Itunes only keeps one backup...Every time you backup, the old backup gets overwritten. It has been that way for well over a year...

I can see at events at least until 2006 (when I started using ical). Check the preferences and make sure you do not have a delete events after XX time frame (see advanced tab under ical preferences).
